Check out the link below to start with why OR jump straight into today’s topic.

Taking Wisdom from a Book, Starting an Experiment Together
Today’s Topic: Basic Greetings
I think it would be even more interesting if we included other languages, such as Japanese, Swedish, and more. Since this is mainly for my colleagues, I will leave it that for now, OAO.
Phonetic System
For those who are new to this, take a look at this to get an idea of the phonetic system in Mandarin. Standard Chinese Phonology

Key Concept
Listening and speaking are great practices in the beginning.
The "Follow-along reading method" or "Imitative reading method" helps you mimic the tones, rhythm, and pronunciation of a native speaker. The goal is not just reading but closely mimicking the speaker’s delivery. With the translation information above, feel free to search it using Pleco, AI tools, or others, and have FUN while experimenting!
Afterword
This is the start of Week 1!
I’m still figuring out the best ways to improve and make this journey FUN while building a sustainable system and daily habit (1 sentence/day inside the file).
The next post will feature 10 sentences for daily needs, including examples like:
可以帮我一下吗?
Kě yǐ bāng wǒ yí xià ma?
Can you help me?
Feel free to comment and provide feedback along the way.
Let’s experiment and learn together!
